NIM Model T120 Quad Updating Discriminator

1.1 GENERAL INFORMATION

The T120/N Quad Discriminator Module (Fig. 1) contains four identical and independent direct-coupled discriminators each having a separate output pulse width adjustment. The module will except either linear or digital input, and when the input threshold is exceeded, will produce normal and complementary NIM standard output pulses of predetermined width. In addition, each discriminator circuit contains an updating timer which guarantees that an output pulse will persist for the preselected width after the most recent threshold crossing, independent of the previous threshold crossings. The unit is a double-width NIM-standard module and each of the independent discriminators is circuit protected against overload damage and temperature compensated over the full operational range.
