GENERAL INFORMATION

The S110/N Decade Scaler Module (Figure 1) is a direct-coupled 200 MHz decade scaler. The S110/N has a direct-coupled discriminator input and both a visual and an electrical readout. The S110/N can be reset either manually or remotely. The input circuit is protected by a limiter and also provides both good termination and fast recovery. The carry output is a NIM-standard fast logic signal of nominal 20 nSec width. The width may be modified to meet special requirements.

The output signals are coded in 1248 BCD but the coding may be changed to the 122'4 code. Also, provisions are made for diode isolation of the data outputs, to allow wired-OR bussing of the digital output signals.

The S110/N is packaged in a single-width NIM-standard module. The front panel is painted blue.

Calibration is not required for the S110/N.
