This unit is a single-width module which contains one 24-bit input register and one 24-bit output register. The unit may be strapped for high true or low true inputs and outputs. Outputs are optional open-collector or totem pole. The unit has handshake signals for both input and output data and LAM's are set to indicate acceptance and ready for additional data.
